At Drax Community Primary School we understand that, as a parent, you will have many questions during your child's time with us.

In order to help to answer some of those questions please take a look at the links on the left which lead to a wide variety of
information.

If you are unable to find the information you require please do not hesitate to speak to your child's class-teacher, who will be more than willing to help.

The School Office can also provide further information if required.

At Drax Community Primary School we strive for excellence within all aspects of our community. We aim to nurture, motivate and raise aspirations of individuals in order that they may achieve their full potential.

The school has drawn up the following aims in the context of our ethos statement, which we believe accurately reflects our commitment to providing both a quality learning environment and a broad spectrum of quality learning experiences, which will equip our children for the future.

  • To provide a rich, broad and balanced curriculum so that all children have the opportunity to achieve their full potential
